It is not the easiest time in the world to identify as LGBTQ+. Here are some ways to take care of yourself today

❤️ Practice self compassion. Be kind to yourself and treat yourself with the same care and understanding that you would offer to a friend who is going through a tough time.
🧡 Connect with others. Building relationships with other LGBTQ+ individuals or allies can provide a sense of community and support.
💛 Set boundaries. This may involve saying "no" to events or activities that don't feel comfortable, or setting limits on how much time you spend on social media
💚 Stay informed. Consider subscribing to LGBTQ+ news outlets that can make you feel empowered and hopeful instead of the outlets covering hate.
💙 Celebrate your identity. Find ways to express yourself authentically.
