At Gleek & Howard we have an unsurpassed Montclair optical pedigree.

Since at least the 1940s there has been an Optician at our Montclair address. In the 1960s the namesakes of Gleek and Howard opened their business here in downtown Montclair. In 1972, after some years of success they decided to concentrate on their business in central Jersey. โ€‹ Bill Berk who had been working in the industry throughout the New York/North Jersey area seized the opportunity to buy the business and grow with the town. Bill has since built Gleek & Howard into a downtown Montclair institution.

Since those early days Gleek & Howard has been known for its unrivled service, selection and quality.
