On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we are invited into a different understanding of change.
Change is not a frenzied race or a demand to move faster within systems that exhaust and disconnect us. It is a steady, intentional movement rooted in love, curiosity, and presence.
It is the quiet resistance to ways of being that reinforce harm, domination, ableism, and disconnection. It is choosing relationship over extraction, authenticity over performance, and dignity over control.
This kind of movement does not rush. It unfolds. And it begins in how we show up with ourselves and one another, here and now.
