This week, we get to talk* about the Middle Space.
Many clients arrive in therapy with sexual symptoms that respond poorly to technique-focused interventions because the underlying issue is relational, not sexual. In this co-presentation, we introduce "the middle space": an experiential, relationally-focused approach to touch work that expands the options available to clinicians seeking collaborative support for clients whose healing requires more than conversation alone.

We just wrapped the first ever
💠 CUDDLIST REGIONAL MINI-RETREAT!!!!!!💠

Most people don't know that the Cuddlist community of practitioners used to be a tight knit group. We used to meet each other regularly and share stories, experiences, and resources. There was a beautiful sense of support and camaraderie.

Then, in the height of our popularity and growth, COVID hit. Community retreated. People needed to shift out of this work to survive. Our numbers dropped to the lowest they've ever been since the company's inception. Cuddlist considered closing up shop...

Instead of abandoning this work we love so much and this mission for a better world we are dedicated to, we stuck it out. We went from holding on, to rebuilding
From rebuilding to improving. And now finally we are transitioning into a phase that feels more like thriving again.

For a long time and I ( ) have dreamed of bringing the community of practitioners back 🫂 IN PERSON 🫂. This week we made that ambitious dream come true. We brought the Cuddlists in the DC/Baltimore area and beyond together for three days of laughter, love, and looking to the future. It felt like it used to. It felt like belonging again.

I'm so grateful that .marinelli and Janie spent this time together.
