Any other moms out there who used to think their standard pregnancy care covered everything? Blood work, ultrasounds, the glucose test, and constant check-ins.

Prenatal care has become very medicalized. In some ways, this has helped many moms with high-risk pregnancies! 🙏 In other ways, it has led low-risk women down a cascade of events who may not have needed the intervention in the first place. 😓

Unfortunately, this can lead to moms and babies having different struggles and grow into other diagnoses.
