The more support, information and care that you do BEFORE your labor and delivery can help prepare you for AFTER your bundle of joy is here. A Webster certified chiropractor will work on your body’s and your baby’s optimal position and the power you can harness within during labor and delivery.
Most women prepare for when their baby is here, but they are not ready and informed for their labor and delivery. This may change what happens during labor and delivery as well as recovery from this incredible event. You might not be prepared for what labor and delivery is really like.
Ever thought of expanding your birth team past your birth provider?

At this office, I see babies all the time 🥰
When they are born via c-section, we check babies nervous system to make sure they are right on cue! All births can be traumatic, but it’s a great idea to get baby’s (& mommy’s) nervous system aligned.
Cues you might want to come in with your little one:
✅ body tightness
✅ mouth tightness
✅ reflux
✅ difficulty latching
✅ arching their back a lot
✅ difficulty sleeping or settling
✅ been under the stress of labor and delivery (meaning everyone should be checked ❤️)
Did you bring your baby in after their birth?

Happy World Breastfeeding Awareness Week to all moms. For the moms who stay up all night to feed their babies, to the ones who pump to feed, to the ones that supplement to make sure their baby is fully fed, the ones who stopped for mental health reasons and to my moms who couldn’t produce. It’s a ton of work and water with a very little amount of sleep.

Your Heart, Your Back and Your Health, 3 keys to improve your posture
Valentine’s Day is here, and most people are thinking of love in many different ways. I think about the theoretic place that love comes from ...the heart. February has many holidays, but it is also Heart Awareness Month.
Why is a chiropractor talking about cardiovascular health?
It’s simple! I am a chiropractor who focuses on your posture. Corrections to your posture will actually improve functions in breathing and circulation. These two important changes in function will decrease the strain on your heart.
Here are three ways other than seeing your chiropractor to help your posture, health and decrease pain related to poor posture:
1. When you start your key in the morning, set your mirrors. If you start looking in your mirror a half hour later and you cannot see properly, the mirror didn’t move, you did. Adjust how you are sitting to help maintain your posture throughout your commute.
2. If you work on a computer (which most of us do now a days), give yourself posture breaks. Set an alter on your computer, to get up once an hour to either go for a drink of water or the bathroom. When you walk, reset your posture. Think about that position against the wall. If you are always on the phone and the computer, use a hands-free system to give your shoulders and neck a break too.
3. If you do exercise, check the mirror, not because you’re beautiful- which you are, but it’s a great way to make sure your form is correct. Proper form or posture will help you avoid injury while giving your muscles the proper amounts of oxygen to help you recover from your work out.
As I have said before, I will always back my information with research so I have listed a few links below. We all know activity is overall better for our health. How to do it and why is the reason I am here. Follow me here @gsspinalcare @dr.jendour or on instagram
