Between pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and even chronic pain our bodies can feel unfamiliar. The things that used to feel easy suddenly don’t, and it’s easy to lose confidence in your own body.

Pelvic floor therapy can help you reconnect by improving bladder and bowel control, easing pain, restoring core strength, and helping you move, breathe, and feel like yourself again.

Because your body isn’t broken, and these symptoms are not a normal part of life. You need support, and I am here for you 🩷

✨That’s do-able✨

This is my version of Staples “that was easy” or Mel Robbin’s “Let Them”.

Last week 90% of my clients told me this unprompted! During my initial intake, I try to get to know you and your goals. Then, I give a small homework assignment for between sessions. My home programs are fitted to YOUR LIFE🧘‍♀️

On a personal level, if 4 years ago you told me I would be starting my own business, I would not believe you. Getting to the point I’m at today was only possible because I took one step at a time. It didn’t feel like much progress at first, but some progress is better than none. ⏩

So, tell me… when you look back on your life, what goals have you reached that make you proud? 👇

✨ What is Pelvic Floor Therapy? ✨

If you’ve ever been told to “just do some Kegels” — you’ve only heard one tiny piece of the pelvic floor puzzle.

Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized form of care that focuses on the muscles, fascia, nerves, and connective tissues that support your bladder, bowel, uterus, and s*xual function. These muscles are deeply connected to how you move, breathe, and feel — and when they’re not working properly, they can lead to issues like:

💧 Leaking urine when you sneeze, laugh, or exercise
💨 Constipation or bowel changes
❤️ Pain with s*x or pelvic exams
🤰 Core weakness or diastasis after pregnancy
⚡️ Pelvic heaviness or prolapse
🪑 Hip, back, or tailbone pain that just won’t go away

Pelvic floor therapy is more than exercises — it’s a whole-body approach. We assess how you breathe, move, and use your core. We retrain muscles to relax and strengthen. We use mind-body techniques to downtrain the nervous system and promote relaxation. We guide you through lifestyle changes and give you tools to feel in control of your body again.

Whether you’re postpartum, pregnant, navigating menopause, or just curious about how your pelvic floor impacts your daily life — therapy can help you feel strong, supported, and empowered from the inside out. 💫

✨ Your pelvic floor deserves the same attention as any other part of your body. ✨

✨ Curious about what happens at your first pelvic floor therapy session? ✨
Your initial evaluation is all about YOU. We’ll take time to talk through your history, your goals, and any symptoms you’re experiencing. From there, I’ll guide you through gentle movement and assessments to get a full picture of your pelvic health.

Think of it as the first step in creating a personalized plan to help you feel strong, supported, and confident in your body. 💪💕

✨ What is Kula? ✨

I first came across this word during yoga teacher training, and it stuck with me. I hope that this feels like a place where you feel supported and connected. 💫

On a personal note, my aunt and mother always referred to a 🍑 as a “koolie”. That being said, when thinking up a name for my practice it was only fitting to pair a beautiful meaning of community and love with the euphemism used to refer the pelvis area. It’s a perfect pairing if you ask me 🤣🩷

Hi! I’m Nicolette, the founder and therapist behind Kula Wellness. Welcome! The best way for you to get to know me is to take a look at some highlights from the past decade. My past 10 years have been full of growth, both personally and professionally. 🌿

▫️ I completed my education, earned my degrees, and began my path as an occupational therapist later to specialize in pelvic floor therapy.
▫️ I completed yoga training, deepening my mind-body approach to care.
▫️ I graduated, built my career, and continued advanced training in women’s health.
▫️ Along the way, I met and married my husband and welcomed our son—experiences that gave me a new perspective on pregnancy, postpartum, and the realities of motherhood.

All of these moments shaped me into who I am today and inspired the creation of Kula Pelvic Wellness—a space where women can feel supported, understood, and empowered in every stage of life.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to walk alongside you in your journey. 🌺
