To our veterans here at Homelake and to all veterans across the country, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your service has protected our freedoms, strengthened our communities, and inspired generations to come.

Thank you to Drift Away for providing your delicious coffee and Sprinkled with Love for providing the yummy treats. The weather was beautiful and our veterans had a wonderful time!!

Veterans Community Living Center at Homelake was opened in 1891 as Colorado's Soldiers' and Sailors' Home, providing a peaceful home for aging and disabled Civil War veterans. Homelake, believes in honoring our residents with compassionate and dignified care, has caring for veterans from every major war in U.S. history. Our home is situated on a tranquil 25 acre site in the Heart of the beautiful San Luis Valley. Our natural surroundings and historic buildings offer scenic views of the lake and surrounding mountains and provide a relaxed and serene environment for the care of our residents.
