Dr. Ismat El-Souki graduated from Medical School in November 1979 with a 4.5 GPA. He began his career as a Family Physician with Hospital privileges from January 1979 to December 1986. In 1987, he worked as a Physician associate for private offices and hospitals as well as with the VA Hospital’s Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Westwood. In 1989, he was introduced to the chiropractic profession by a doctor of chiropractic who helped him avoid imminent lower back surgery. Impressed by the profession, Dr. Ismat El-Souki enrolled in Southern California College of Chiropractic in 1990. Upon graduating with honors Summa Cum Laude and given the award of Clinical Excellency, he became a license doctor of Chiropractic in the State of California in July of 1992. He served as a faculty member from September 1992 to December 1994 while working as an associate Chiropractic Doctor in private offices until July 1996. With a big heart to help people from all walks of life, he works very hard with great dedication and love for the profession using his experience and knowledge he has obtained throughout the years. Dr. Ismat El-Souki takes great reward in helping his patients improve the quality of their lives, improve their health, and avoid unnecessary surgeries.
