Iām a grieving mom missing 2 sons.
My oldest, Jed, died by su***de in December 2017 and I found my youngest, Matthew, at his home in December 2021.
One thing that I have found that helps me to manage grief is staying busy. I turn to art for therapy. I consider art to be any art, craft or anything creative including cooking and, so many other creative endeavors! My goal is to help others cultivate or learn some kind of 'busy work' to help them to manage, heal and yes, distract themselves. I hope you will join me! Do you have something that keeps you busy that you turn to? Please share! Is there an art, craft, etc. that you would like to learn? Tell us; maybe someone can help.
I am also working on my YouTube channel that will have art and craft videos and tutorials for those interested.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a public page. If you prefer to keep your post private you I encourage you to join and post in The Grieving Artist private group.
Here are a couple of my recent projects. The first and second are pendants and the third (video clip) is a memorial ash pendant created for someone missing their mom.
