’Twas the night before NBHA Youth & Teen World, and all through the grounds,
There was silence — no trailers, no hoofbeats, no sounds.
The stalls all stood ready, the gates locked up tight,
Awaiting the chaos that comes with first light.

The barns were empty, no chatter, no gear —
Just the calm before thousands of horses appear.
The arenas were prepped with precision and care,
In hopes that fast times soon would be there.

The riders were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of buckles danced in their heads.
The calm before trailers roll in with a roar,
And the countdown to Youth World becomes no more.

From Peewee to Teen, the competition’s tight —
But they’ve come here to shine, to make every turn tight.
So here’s to the riders, both nervous and bold,
It’s NBHA Youth World time. Let the victories unfold.
