Gloria Mae Park, age 82 of Necedah passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Casa de Oakes Assisted Living in Reedsburg. Gloria was born on January 7, 1943 to Henry and Tracy (Drent) Nonhof in Sheboygan. She graduated from high school in Cedar Grove and furthered her education at Lakeland College where she studied to become a teacher. While attending school at Lakeland, Gloria met the love of her life, Harold Park; the two were united in marriage on Harold’s birthday, January 30, 1965 at the Presbyterian Church in Manitowoc. Harold preceded Gloria in death on September 17, 2016.

Gloria taught elementary school in the Wisconsin Dells School District for over 30 years. When she retired from teaching, she and her husband would spend winters at Saddlebag Lake Resort Retirement Park in Florida. She loved traveling with her family and spending time at the family cabin on Klotz Lake in Ontario, Canada. Gloria enjoyed needle point, baking, flower gardening, motorcycle rides with Harold and sunbathing. Music was a large part of Gloria’s life; she sang in the choir at The First Presbyterian Church in Oxford.

Gloria was a cancer survivor and generous supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She was an animal lover and many would describe her as outgoing, funny, a wonderful friend, compassionate. Most of all, Gloria was loved by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by two children: Daniel (Pauline) of Necedah and Sarah (Sylvan) Winden of Wisconsin Dells and five grandchildren: Jared (Katie) Park, Jordyn (Zach) Johnston, Leah (Scott) Fischer, Hannah (Tannner) LeMoine and Jerad (Lorin) Mehring. She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Ainsley, Elsie, Wesley, Barrett, Brekken, Watsyn, Owen and Reece. Gloria is further survived by siblings: Darrel (Judy) Nonhof and Edwin (Cindy) Nonhof, sister-in-law, Marie Nonhof as well as other extended family members.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Thomas and brothers: Virgil (Delores) Nonhof and Loren Nonhof and brother-in-law, Richard (Barbara) Park.

A funeral service for Gloria Park will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM at The First Presbyterian Church of Oxford. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Pastor Brenda Pulver will preside and burial at the Oxford Village Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.

Walter “Wally” C. Naekrsz, age 70 of Montello passed away at his home on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Wally was born in Kenosha on March 12, 1955 to Walter and Esther (Infusino) Naekrsz. He was raised in the Kenosha area and attended the Kenosha Schools, furthering his education in drafting. Wally worked at American Motors and then moved to Montello in 1975. While in Montello, he was employed at American Woodworking.

His nickname as a young man was Mo-Town Missle, for his love of Mopars. He was a fun loving Uncle to Josh, Rachel, Zach and Jessica, he loved to tell them dirty jokes and made up lots of good stories just to make them laugh. Uncle Wally loved to take them for rides around Buffalo Lake all while blasting Heart! He will forever be remembered as both Uncle Wally and Wally Dude! You will be forever in our hearts and memories!

Wally is survived by his son, Wally Jr., daughter, Diana Fisher and sisters: Sandra (Jeffrey) Schimek and Debra (Dennis) Puterbaugh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Joshua Schimek, Rachel Schimek, Jessica Puterbaugh, Zachery Puterbaugh and Michael Puterbaugh.

Wally is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Eugene and Peter and nephew, Jason Puterbaugh.

No services will be held at this time.

William Shaw

William Dean Shaw, age 65 of Montello (Lake Puckaway), passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 2, 2026 at his home. William was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina to Archie E. Shaw, III and Rose Mary (Robinson) Tate on June 17, 1960. At a young age, he moved with his family to Maryland where he graduated from Colonel Zadok Magruder High School in Rockville. He furthered his education in Biology at Frostburg State University in Maryland. William moved to the Midwest, residing in both Iowa and then Madison, before he ultimately settled near Lake Puckaway around ten years ago. He enjoyed nature; especially camping, hiking, and caving. William will be remembered for his love of music, his way with words, and his many friendships.

“By the waterside I will lay my head,

Listen to the river sing sweet songs,

To rock my soul.”

William is survived by his daughter, Sara Shaw of Salisbury, MD; his sister, Nissa (John) Ellinwood of Davidsonville, MD; his uncle, Edgar (Sally) Robinson of Hendersonville, NC; and other extended family members throughout North Carolina, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. He is preceded in death by his parents.

No formal services will take place.

Robert Gray Sr.

Robert “Curly” R. Gray Sr., age 88 of Glen Oak was surrounded by his loving family before he got on board the Chicago Northwestern Train Car to Heaven with Jesus’ All Aboard Call on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Born to Carl and Ella (Ross) Gray on May 31, 1937 in Montello; he married Kay Fuller on March 5, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa and together they were blessed with four children. As a young man, Bob started his own business delivering freight to stores in Montello. He then got his Master Plumber’s License and began doing sewer construction as well as having his own excavating business. In his later years, he started a green house and sold plants at Gray’s Farm Market (now The Garden Center) as well as had his own repair shop; doing work for local farmers and businesses.

In 1996, he and Kay moved to Arkansas and returned to Glen Oak in 2018. In retirement, he enjoyed repairing lawnmowers and woodworking. Bob will be remembered for his contagious smile, dry sense of humor and the love he had for his family that will be forever in everyone’s heart that knew him.

Bob is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kay and four children: Robert Jr. (Kathy) of Princeton, Mary (Paul) Dahlke of Montello, David (Donna) of Ohio and Dennis (Shelley) of Montello as well as his sister, Diane (Lynn) Dhein of Columbus. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Elizabeth (Noah) Buchholz, Jonothan (Paige) Dahlke, Justin Gray, Gavin Gray and Ella Gray along with three great-grandsons: Eli, Hayes and Brooks Buchholz as well as other extended family members.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Russell (Donna), Donald (Mabel), Graydon (Lorraine), Donna Jean Gray, Joan (Ernest) Schmitz.

There will be no service at this time. A celebration of life is being planned for the spring.

Our sincere thanks to Koryn, Darla, Mary and Theresa from CHCC in Wyocena for their friendship, love, kindness and excellent care of Curly while he was with them.

David Radke

David Harold Radke, age 85 of Neshkoro (formerly of Oconomowoc) passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026 at SSM St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. David was born in Oconomowoc on July 30, 1940 to Harold and Addaline (Borchardt) Radke. He graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1958 and went on to proudly serve his country as a member of the United States Navy and continued his service to our country in the Army Reserves. While in the service, he received the Richard B**g Award for his devoted service to his country. David was united in marriage to Karen Dorn on May 9, 1964 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc; they were blessed with five children.

Dave initially worked for postal service and then became a police officer for the City of Oconomowoc; he retired after 29 years of faithful service to his profession and community. In 1996, he and Karen relocated to rural Neshkoro. In retirement, Dave was employed as a meter reader for Adams-Columbia, but filled the majority of time enjoying the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping especially on the Willow Flowage. He took great pride in attending and supporting his grandchildren in all their school activities and will be remembered for his sense of humor.

David is survived by his wife of 61 years, Karen and five children: Kim Italiano of Watertown, Kathy (Dale) Twardokus of Iron Ridge, Keith (Tammy) of New York, Kelly Smith and children of Elkhorn and Ken (Becky) of Eagle River. He is also survived by grandchildren: Rachel, Nicole, Karoline (Cody), Kevin (Amanda), Katie (Kyle), Kyle, Ean, Sean, Andrew, Owen (Chayce), Garrett (Cassandra), Julia (Nathan) and Lucas along with one great granddaughter. David is further survived by two sisters: Lois (Wally Parker) Radke and Phyllis Kottke, brother-in-law, Spencer Lueck and other extended family members.

David is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Nancy Lueck, Carol (Claude) Rex, Sandra Braunschweig, Richard, infant Christine and his faithful four-legged companion, Ivan.

A memorial service for David Radke will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 12:00 noon at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, W1568 Evergreen Lane, Montello. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Pastor Bruce Hanneman will preside and inurnment will full military honors by American Legion Post #351 of Montello will follow the service in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family.

The family will host a visitation on Saturday the 24th from 12:00 noon until 3:00 PM at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 1650 Brown Street, Oconomowoc.

Jeannette Elsie Tonn, age 78 of Packwaukee, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at UW Hospital in Madison. Jeannette was born in Portage on October 19, 1947, to Eugene and Shirley (Raddatz) Tonn. She was raised in Packwaukee and graduated from Montello High School in 1965. Jeannette was employed at Rayovac in Portage for many years until she retired. She also worked part-time at Call of the Wild Campground.

Jeannette loved to cook and try out different restaurants. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Packwaukee for many years. Jeannette was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. She was known for her laugh and her humor among her family and friends.

Jeannette is survived by her son, Cory Tonn of Cross Plains, and step-siblings: Denny (JoEllen) Glunn of Montello, Gary (Gail) Glunn of Montello, and Connie (Charles) Ness as well as stepson, Geoff Winkler of Appleton. She is also survived by her aunt, Sharon Raddatz.

Jeannette is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene W. Tonn, and Shirley Johnson; paternal grandparents, Emil and Martha Tonn; maternal grandparents, Erich and Esther Raddatz; uncle, Melvin Raddatz; and brother, Robert Johnson.

A memorial service for Jeannette Tonn will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Packwaukee. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of the service. Pastor Larry Sheppard will preside. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Oakhill Cemetery, Town of Packwaukee.

Gladys Mulhern

Gladys A. Mulhern, age 97 of Montello passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Home Again Assisted Living in Columbus after residing in Waunakee for the last several years. Gladys was born on August 14, 1928 in East Bristol to Herbert and Dorothea (Getzinger) Miller. She graduated from Waunakee High School in 1947 and was united in marriage to William “Bill” Mulhern on October 28, 1948 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Waunakee. Together they raised their six children in the Madison area until retiring to their home on Buffalo Lake outside of Montello. Bill preceded Gladys in death on March 28, 2014.

Gladys was employed at Webcrafters in Madison for over 20 years. She was quite a dancer as well as an avid golfer, bowler and quilter. Gladys was part of the local breakfast club, card club and Red-Hat Society. Throughout her life, she was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello and St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Madison. Gladys will be remembered for her prayer life and the love she had for her family and dog, Tia.

Gladys is survived by six children: Kay Oren, Dorothy Browne, Diane Lefebvre, Marilyn (Kevin) Hill, Beth (Grant) Smith and Carol (Phil) Hutchison as well as fifteen grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by brother, Gordy (Nancy) Miller along with other extended family members.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, Billy, grandsons: David (Janet) Specht and Adam Zirbel, sons-in-law: Paul Oren, Wes Browne and Kent Lefebvre and seven deceased brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gladys Mulhern will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Father Savio Yerasani will preside and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to St. John the Baptist Church, 277 E. Montello Street, Montello, WI 53949.

To the staff at Home Again and Agrace Hospice, On behalf of the Mulhern Family, we want to thank you for the incredible kindness you showed us during Mom’s final journey. Knowing that she was in such capable and loving hands brought us immense peace. Specifically, we want to thank Jen (Waunakee) and Heidi (Columbus) from Agrace for their tenderness. Odell Tollefson

Odell “Ole” Tollefson, age 79 of Montello passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, December 26, 2025 at his home. Ole was born at home in Soldiers Grove to Lyle and Mildred (Olson) Tollefson on December 14, 1946. He grew up in Soldiers Grove and graduated from Pardeeville High School in 1965. Ole was united in marriage on September 30, 1967 to Janis Herrick in Portage; together they were blessed with four children. Janis preceded Ole in death on May 2, 2012.

Ole was an avid outdoorsman, especially deer hunting and fishing. In his younger days, he rode motorcycles and later in life he looked forward riding with the top down in his convertible. Ole’s real passion was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ole is survived by his four children: Jerry (Sherrie) of Montello, Todd (DeAnn) of Portage, Tina (Gary) Carpenter of Pardeeville and Traci Tollefson (Brian Zurfluh) of Princeton as well as eight grandchildren: Micheala, Jordan (Morgan), Nathan (Bailey), Parker, Sydney, Harley (Andy), Tess and Landen. He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Kaiya, Kolton, Ledger, Melanie, Aiden, Lucy, Everest, Sawyer and two more on the way as well as his sister, Marge (Dennis) Barrett of Wyocena along with many other extended family members.

Ole is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. No formal service will be held. A celebration of life for Ole will follow at Rendezvous in Montello, all are welcome to attend.

David Bishop

David “Roaddog” Bishop, age 65 of Montello passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at his home. David was born in Gary, Indiana on May 25, 1960 to Charles and Carol (Tripp) Bishop. He enlisted in the United States Marines and following his time in service, David followed his true passion of music which took him all over the United States playing in many different bands as a drummer. Affectionately known by many as “Roaddog”, he came to Montello in 2014 and married the love of his life, Mary (Richards) Fairbanks on December 9, 2017 in South Padre Island, TX. His main focus in life may have been music, but his proudest titles were dad and grandpa; always enjoying the time he got to spend with his children and grandchildren.

David is survived by his wife, Mary, mother, Carol Blumenthal and his children: Becky (John) Parish, Nicole (Thomas) Davidson, Ariel Bishop, Brooke Castro and Nathan Bishop. He is also survived by step-children: Carry (Tonya Bell) Schnell, Monica Schnell, Marigo Mathews and Dustin (Kitty) Schnell along with many grandchildren and great-grandson, Grant Gauger. David is further survived by his siblings: Peggy (Anthony) Yound, Charles Bishop, Shari Hirsch and Becky (Jerry) Chitwood as well as other extended family members.

David is preceded in death by his father, step-father, Marcus Blumenthal.

A Celebration of David “Roaddog” Bishop’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 1:00 until 6:00 PM at River's Bend Resort, W2614 Fox Lane, Montello.
