“Let’s build us a happy little cloud that floats around the sky.” - Bob Ross

At first glance, an Okenite geode doesn’t look like much, but when you look a little closer you see an entire etheric ecosystem between the harder edges of the geode’s crust.

Okenite looks like little fluffy cotton balls. Don’t touch them, though, as the little needles that make it look so soft are actually brittle and might leave some splinters in your skin.

Supposedly, Okenite is used by high level spiritual masters in parts of India for meditation. I haven’t validated this claim, but I have worked with Okenite for a while now and it is an excellent meditative companion, helping to facilitate travel to the clouds it resembles.

I have found Okenite helps clear the mind and connect any discovery found while meditating with your physical being.

It partners well with the calming nature of Scolecite. Having both in a meditation room or setting would be powerful, indeed. That said, I don’t consider it a stone for beginners and would recommend having a grounding stone nearby. Okenite can be very heady.

The mesmerizing green and blue interplay of Malachite and Chrysocolla (sometimes referred to as Malacolla) looks like a view of Earth from space.

From an energetic perspective, Malacolla embodies a connection between the heart and throat, facilitating communication of your inner vision. Being born of copper based minerals, there’s an innate healing and harmonizing component to this stone.

Chrysocolla alone is known as a stone for artists, while Malachite was used as a merchant’s stone to facilitate business abundance. If you make, or wish to make, a living in the arts this combination stone is perfect for you.

While it’s not uncommon to see these minerals together, the shade of Chrysocolla is much deeper than what you normally see. This is a gorgeous piece to keep nearby for when you need inspiration.

Vivianite, the ultimate high fantasy, sword & sorcery mineral. Hard to come by and I ain’t parting with my personal piece. Part of why you don’t see it a lot is its fragility, you basically have to treat it like a Gremlin.

So what is Vivianite? It’s a iron-rich phosphate mineral that forms in water-logged environments and grows mainly on fossilized bones and shells or decaying organic matter aka dead things which is why it also possesses the moniker CO**SE CRYSTAL. Yes, it is found on human remains.

So that Gremlin thing? When Vivianite forms it is colorless. As soon as it is exposed to oxygen and light it starts to darken. Once that happens it doesn’t stop, it will keep darkening until it turns completely black, losing the cool green and blue tones. This processes rapidly accelerates if it’s exposed to or kept in bright light, particularly sunlight. But if it’s kept in a relatively shaded environment, it can take a few decades to darken. I took all the pictures in the shade.

This is a powerful crystal for physical regeneration and excellent for parting the veil between worlds and for sorting out karmic crap. If there is one singular mineral that can take you into the mysterious unknown, this is it. If you work with any psychopomps, or are one yourself, this is your stone.

I bet you’ve heard of Moldavite. This tektite (projectile glass formed by meteorite impact) is notorious for dismantling people’s lives (in a good way) in the name of transformation, getting rid of what’s not needed in the process.

It also has a rep for being a stone that anyone, even those who are not ‘energy-sensitive’, can feel. It radiates energy and dispenses a warmth that is known as the Moldavite flush. There’s a theory that Moldavite (not Emerald) was the stone on the holy grail.

There’s a lot of fake Moldavite out there. I only get mine from a source I trust explicitly.

This piece is available now on Pheroze.com

There’s plenty of Hematite Quartz out there but this kind, with coating that looks like a mix of blood and chocolate, can be tough to come by at high quality.

This is a stellar crystal if you do any inner fire work or other body sublimation practices. A clarifying, purifying stone.

The first one in the video is going to go into my personal collection if it doesn’t sell within the month. It’s stunning.

Don’t do it.

Fixed up this badly chipped Tibetan Chlorite Quartz point. Couldn’t resist resurfacing some of the faces a bit to bring out the Chlorite inclusions as well. I love how the Chlorite transitions from deep green within to white outside.
Might keep this one or it might be available in my shop. Not sure, but DM if you’d like to purchase.

This reshaped and resurfaced smoky citrine and pink tourmaline point is up for grabs if someone wants it; it’s not in my shop yet. I love reshaping chipped and broken points. Sometimes it’s a point that looks amazing otherwise but just got dinged somewhere along the way. But in the case of this one it not only had a lot of damage, but the cloudy surface was obscuring a gorgeous smoky citrine. I also lightly polished the main tourmaline to bring out some of those rainbows.
A lot of lapidaries stay away from reshaping points as
the reality is you have to either change the depths of the facets or create an entirely new facet, so if you’re a purist or need it to look exactly like it did before, this ain’t the route for you.
I have an entire box full of all sorts of points that need some fixing. Maybe the right one for you is in there?
