Hello Neighbors,
Hacienda Carmel is having it's annual fantastic plant sale on the 4th of July from 11-4 in front of our office area "Casa Central". We do this huge effort to raise funds to maintain our organic gardening area and orchard. It is all volunteer effort. We have over 150 potted plants small and large with many mixed succlents and some exotic varieties, hangng flowering pots, Stag Horn ferns mounted and ready to go, morning glory plants, beautiful flowering plants, lavendar sachets and cuttings, all great to buy for yourself or to give as a gift!
Please spread the word and we hope to see you there!

RIP Tyre Nichols , brutally, murdered in the same city where Martin Luther King was killed. He is wearing an earring of sobriety, and his light is so bright. What a tragic loss. Just stunning.  one of the reasons I chose to not go back to Memphis, which was my home town many times in my life the racial prejudice runs deep and is still alive and well like it was when I was a little girl there.  absolute and total insanity!

I just love this. It’s a great example of why I teach what I teach to all of my patients/clients. I hope it inspires you.

The way you look at things is not simply a private matter. Your outlook actually and concretely affects what goes on. When you give in to helplessness, you collude with despair and add to it. When you take back your power and choose to see the possibilities for healing and transformation, your creativity awakens and flows to become an active force of renewal and encouragement in the world. In this way, even in your own hidden life, you can become a powerful agent of transformation in a broken, darkened world. There is a huge force field that opens when intention focuses and directs itself toward transformation.

I am still bringing parts back from being so knocked down with Lyme disease and Co-infections, great lessons were learned that I am still integrating. For all of you, that feel like you’ve lost yourself or have faded away, it’s time to reclaim your true self!

TO THE WOMAN WHO IS SLOWLY FADING AWAY...

To the woman who has lost her spark.
To the woman whose get up and go, has well and truly gone.
This is for you.
This is to remind you whose daughter you are.
This is to remind you, that you don’t have to be everything to everyone, every day.
You didn’t sign up for that.
Remember when you used to laugh? Sing? Throw caution to the wind?
Remember when you used to forgive yourself more quickly for not always being perfect.
You can get that back again.
You really can.
And that doesn’t have to mean letting people down or walking away.
It just means being kinder to you, feeling brave enough to say no sometimes.
Being brave enough to stop sometimes.
And rest.
It starts the moment you realise that you’re not quite who you used to be.
Some of that is good, some of that is not.
There are parts of you that need to be brought back.
And if anyone in your life is not okay with that... they are not your people.
Your people will be glad to see that spark starting to light up again.
So, if you have been slowly fading away my friend, this is the time to start saying yes to things that bring you joy and no to things that don’t.
It’s really pretty simple.

I love seeing this, Kiana Reves knows how to blow out the venom this is energy medicine, and what I teach in my practice all the time. Great for releasing negative, pent-up energy. I also remember using this when I worked in the psych ward at Natividad hospital in Salinas , it was such an intense work and there were times I needed to move the energy out so I could think more clearly so I would go in the padded rooms and turn off the camera and do this type of release work. Then I return to work with a smile on my face.
