Our beloved Karen Yackley passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025. We’ll celebrate her life on Thursday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson–TeBeest Funeral Home (629 N 3rd St, Montevideo, MN), with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.

If you’re joining us, two simple ways to honor Karen—just as she lived:

1. Wear Vikings or Wild Gear in tribute to her Minnesota sports pride.
2. In lieu of flowers, please consider a cash donation. The family will direct gifts to animal rescue and humane society organizations, reflecting Karen’s tender heart for animals and the way she always rooted for the ones who needed a champion.
