Under the proposed budget:

For Nursing Facilities:

Planned Closure Rate Adjustments are removed on July 1
Employer-sponsored health insurance is limited
Ending of PIPP
Rates are reduced through a modification of the direct care quality-based limit
The operating rate cap is reduced from the lesser of CPI-U or 4% to just 2%

For Assisted Living Communities:
Eligibility criteria for CADI and BI nursing facility level of care determinations are removed
Acuity-based aggregate limits for CADI and BI Customized Living are implemented
Disproportionate Share Program ended

More budget cuts to Nursing Homes like Luther Haven make it even more difficult to provide the care that we all aim for.
