🏈 Game Day Joy: Wings, Laughter, and a Super Bowl to Remember! 🎉

Terrie could hardly wait for the Super Bowl. “She’s been so excited about this,” Ray shared—and for good reason. Terrie loves bringing joy to our residents. She’s the one who pops into rooms dancing and singing, just to see smiles appear and hear laughter bubble up… and it works every time! 😂💃

A CMA for three decades, Terrie’s talents stretch far beyond her title. Her generosity, heart, and willingness to share her gifts make her truly one of a kind. ❤️

As the NFL playoffs rolled on and excitement built toward the big game, Terrie was already in full-on celebration mode. When Super Bowl Sunday finally arrived—yay!—she spent the entire afternoon in the kitchen preparing the ultimate spread of “game food.” And oh my goodness… are you ready for this? 😍

Barbecue wings, buffalo wings, garlic parmesan wings, brown gravy meatballs, barbecue cocktail smokies, beef and onion cheese balls, queso dip, spinach artichoke dip, pimento and ham dip—plus a generous assortment of cheeses, crackers, chips, and ice-cold Dr. Pepper, Coke, and Sprite. 🥳🍗🧀

And because presentation is everything, Terrie’s boyfriend Virgil stepped in like a playoff MVP. 🏆 (Yes, he needed roller skates to keep up!) He hung a bold “Game Time” banner, added football balloons, and transformed the room into the perfect fan zone. As Terrie and Virgil carried in platter after platter, the mouthwatering aroma filled the space and had everyone’s appetites officially fired up. 👀🤤

It looked like enough food to feed a stadium… but by the end of the party, you guessed it—hardly a morsel was left! 😄

Even without our Chiefs playing in the final championship game, the turnout was fantastic. Whether residents came for the playoff spirit, the Super Bowl excitement, or just the incredible food, everyone had an amazing time. 🏈✨

WOW!!! A HUGE shoutout to Terrie and Virgil for making the night so special. Your kindness, effort, and enthusiasm truly made this Super Bowl celebration one to remember! 💙👏

As we wrap up our Christmas posts and memories from Christmas 2025, we want to thank everyone who followed along here on Facebook and shared in the joy of the season with us. From festive celebrations to meaningful moments, it truly was one for the books. ❤️

Juanita could barely contain her joy as she waited for her grandson Ethan and his wife Erica to arrive from St. Louis. The moment they were all together—alongside Juanita’s daughter Jeanette and son-in-law David (Ethan’s parents)—the room filled with laughter, love, and the comfort of a favorite meal: Chinese cuisine. 🥠

For Juanita, family is everything, and moments like these are what her heart lives for. It’s easy to see why she’s so deeply loved by everyone around that table. ❤️

We’re catching up on all of our December Christmas memories, and this one is too cute not to share! Juanita is modeling her new black stocking cap, scarf, and shawl from her Secret Santa Sarah—and she loves it! 🧢🧣🖤

“I love it!” she says, already excited to wear her new ensemble on her next venture out…just maybe not in -8°F weather. 🥶😉

Don’t give up, Juanita—winter will still be here next week, just not quite so wintery! The forecast is calling for highs in the 60s. ☀️🙌
