Happy Easter! Today's Easter Brunch was another smashing success for culinary! Food choices such as succulent Easter Ham and Prime Rib, delicious (and colorful!) Deviled eggs, lush fruit, great veggies and tasty desserts awaited residents!

It was also Day 5 of Laugh at Work Week so some food puns were in order! , ,

We were blessed to have Earney Smith stop by for a visit at Happy Hour! We were treated to yummy fried baloney and cheddar slider appetizers from Culinary!

It was funny picture day for Day 3 of Laugh at Work Week, so we obliged!

Well to say our Easter Egg Hunt and activities were a success would be an eggs-traordinary understatement! 21 kids from 2 preschools from A Touch of Nature came and fun and energy were everywhere! We started with the Easter Bunny helping with the egg hunt and then we went to our Memory Care for fun crafts!

We also had our Autism Awareness Month sensory table! The Children got to feel soft sand, rough rocks, fluffy feathers, smooth colorful stones, squishy items and fidget spinners! The residents got to interact and laugh with the children and it was so much fun for all! ,

April 1st has been full of fun and flowers as we "Bloom into Wellness!" at our monthly Wellness Wednesdays! What a great group of people all committed to enriching lives and promoting good health through services and information! Thank you to all the care team, partners and agencies!

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, our Act of Service for March was Care to Learn!

This month we had the wonderful Krystal Simon in to tell us all about the good work they do for Springfield school children and their families.They are on the forefront of providing clothing and hygiene items to needy kids and we were honored to put together grab & go laundry packs to help aid their mission!
