For our pay it forward this November, we have adopted Equine Collective Inc. They are a 5013C horse rescue. This wonderful company let us come over and ride horses for free. They are a wonderful addition to the community. But they need our help. You can contact Gordon’s Feed and tell them you are putting money into the equine collective group or you can donate to us. Our residents had a wonderful time horseback riding YESTERDAY! Many shared fond memories of their days spent around horses—some even used to ride regularly. It was a joy to see the smiles, hear the stories, and watch everyone connect with these beautiful animals once again. Experiences like this remind us that adventure and joy have no age limit! Staff also got to join the residents, and one staff member even faced her fears and rode for the first time in 15 years. You never know what we are going to do next!
