March 6th was also National OREO day! We had a blast trying out different flavors of Oreos (Original won the votes), we played cookie face challenge and a game of getting to know each other!

March 6th was a huge day to celebrate here at The Bungalows at Springfield East! We threw our AMAZING staff an Employee Appriciation Party all day with yummy snacks, drinks, pizza for every shift, hourly drawings for 10 minute chair massages and relaxation, and gift baskets! Friday was also National Maintenance Man Day, we Thank You Chris for all you do here! We truly are blessed with such a wonderful group of people and THANK YOU ALL FOR WORKING SO HARD EVERYDAY!

Last month we had to say good bye to Sara our Performance and Outreach Director. She has been with our community for 2 years. She will be missed greatly but is off to new aventures. We are lucky enough to have her support our community in the future as a new Haven Home Health and Hospice Representative.

Our ladies enjoyed strutting their stuff with Typaldos Rehab🎉🌟 What an incredible day at the Bungalows at Springfield East. Our residents truly brought their A-game as they strutted their stuff for the latest TikTok trend! Laughter and joy filled the room as everyone embraced their inner dance stars and showed off some fabulous moves. 🕺💃

It’s moments like these that remind us how vibrant and energetic our community is, making every dance step a reason to celebrate together. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and made this a day to remember! Keep dancing, keep smiling, and keep shining! ✨

The men headed out for a trip to IHOP yesterday and made a full morning of it. Between stacks of pancakes and plenty of coffee, there was lots of laughter and good-natured goofing off. We even managed to squeeze in a stop to get their tires inflated, turning a simple errand into part of the adventure.

Later, we gathered to celebrate two very special ladies. Happy Birthday to Shirley and Jeannie. It was such a joy to honor you both and spend the day surrounded by friends, fun, and plenty of smiles. Days like this remind us how blessed we are by this wonderful community.

Today our seniors gave back by volunteering at The Kitchen, sorting clothing for neighbors experiencing homelessness. Acts of service like this remind us how powerful kindness and community can be.
