Derrick Parker Jr. is a first-generation college student from Kansas City, Missouri, who made history as valedictorian of Morehouse College before earning his J.D. from Harvard Law School, becoming the first lawyer in his family.

A Gates Millennium Scholar and Phi Beta Kappa inductee, he graduated summa cm laude from Morehouse with a perfect 4.0 GPA. At Harvard, he was one of the youngest admitted to the Trial Law Program and served with the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau.

He later clerked for the Second and Eighth Circuits and is now an associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, the son of a barber and a factory worker, carrying his family's hard work into every room he enters. - Africa Giant

Sierra Powell, a Senior Computer Science student at Tuskegee University, is already a seasoned veteran in the world of high-stakes cybersecurity, having completed multiple internships building and protecting systems for the United States Department of Defense.

Powell's technical journey with the DoD began with creating an automated tool to bolster the Navy's Anti-Submarine Warfare efforts. She proved herself so capable that she was promoted to a role building and configuring secure systems from scratch.

Her experience also includes protecting corporate infrastructure as a Cybersecurity Intern at Finastra. With a resume that includes defending both national security and financial data, Powell is poised to become a leading figure in the cybersecurity field upon her graduation this spring.
