Good morning Facebook family and friends , my name is Lamar Barber, I’m the owner of ABLE Home Care and Non Emergency Medical Transport Services, LLC located in Montgomery, Alabama. But our story began in 2012 when we started our business in Fort Deposit. Me and my wife saw the overwhelming need for our elderly and disabled within the Black community commonly known as the Black Belt who had no resources like a hospital or even an urgent care. Since then we have faced challenges providing our services prior to , during and after the pandemic. During my travels as an registered nurse , i again saw that not only people had issues with getting the help they needed but also had no access to their private physicians and that’s how we developed and started the non emergency medical transportation service. The populations that we are seeking to serve are those who fall under the Medicaid waiver and non emergency medical transportation services in these same areas. Will you join me and others like me by sharing this information? Thank you for your and everyone else’s prayers and thoughts as we journey together to recover what has been lost. Our community…..

After all that we have been through in the wake of the Covid-19’s invasion into our personal, work and public lives it seems that we are forever changed. We must adapt to the new normal that this virus has caused.
