I’m so excited to bring Zumbini to our community, and I’ve decided to start things a little differently to make it easier for families to jump in and try it out 💛

Instead of a full session, I’ll be offering single, drop-in classes—no long-term commitment, just music, movement, and bonding time with your little one 😊

Many of us knew him first as Mark Sloan aka “McSteamy,” but Eric Dane’s legacy reaches far beyond a TV role. Today we honor his memory by bringing awareness to ALS — a disease that profoundly impacts communication and independence. Sending love to all individuals and families affected. 💙

As speech-language pathologists, we talk a lot about growth, progress, and skill-building — but rest is an important part of the process too. 💛

We’re excited to be hosting our first Zumbini trial classes on Friday, February 13th! 🎶💛

Zumbini is a music-and-movement experience for young children and their caregivers that combines singing, dancing, instruments, and playful learning—all in a warm, encouraging environment. It’s a fun way to build connection, support early development, and make joyful memories together.

Zumbini is a group enrichment class, not a therapy service.

✨ Space is limited and registration is required to attend.

Monday Weather Update 💛❄️

With local schools closed, I wanted to share a quick note for families scheduled on Monday, January 26th.

At this time, the office plans to remain open, and I’m keeping a close eye on road and weather conditions throughout the day. If driving conditions become unsafe, the office will close and families will be notified right away. 🚗🌨️

If being out and about feels tricky, you’re always welcome to request a virtual session or reschedule. Just let me know no later than 9:00 A.M. Monday morning so I can plan accordingly. 💻📅 You can reach me via text and email this weekend should you need to a schedule change.

Just a gentle reminder that our regular attendance policy will still apply for Monday’s sessions — thank you for being so thoughtful about letting me know if plans change. 💛

Hello 2026! 👋

Encouraging Words is back from the holidays, and we’re ready to welcome all our friends back to speech. Exciting things are already in motion.

Our office will be closed from December 22nd through January 4th as we take a short holiday break. Messages will be returned and new referrals will be contacted when we reopen on January 5th.

🎄 December Office Hours 🎄
For the month of December, I’ll be operating on reduced hours — 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. each day.

I’m using this time to wrap up end-of-year paperwork, reset for the new year, and prepare for some fun new programs launching in January! 🎉✨

Regular business hours return Monday, January 5th.
