We are thankful we have some of the BEST on our ProImpact team! If your school has an athletic trainer, give them a shoutout and a thank you! Most schools struggle keeping one on staff as they are few and far between, so if your school is lucky enough to have an ATC show your gratitude!

We came, we sat right behind Will’s parents (per Hannah’s request), we witnessed them say “I Do”, we saw Cassie slide on that ring Will tried on 4824872 times prior, we ate alllll of the food we had heard so much about, we ate both cakes, and enjoyed listening to the band! We clean up pretty nicely and were happy to be a small part of Will and Cassie’s special day! SO congrats to the newlyweds, Will and Cassie, we were thrilled to spend the day celebrating yall!

Robert Edward Ellis
August 11, 1936 – February 13, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Edward Ellis, Sr., a devoted father, grandfather, educator, and friend. Born in 1936 in Roanoke, Virginia, Bob made Phenix City, Alabama, his home in 1958, where he built a life defined by kindness, humor, and an unwavering commitment to those around him.
Robert dedicated much of his life to shaping young minds as an educator and leader in his community. He began his career as a teacher and coach at Central High School before becoming the principal at Glenwood High School. Later, he served as the Dean of Students at Chattahoochee Valley Community College and finished his career at Wacoochee Middle School, where he worked until his retirement.
His leadership extended far beyond the walls of the school—he was a coach, mentor, a guide, and a steadfast supporter of countless students who still cherish his influence today. His impact on the community was immeasurable, and his legacy as an educator will live on for generations to come.
Outside of his professional life, Bob was a man of many hobbies. He was an avid and talented painter, bringing beauty to the world through his art. He also found great joy in the pages of a good book, and had a fondness for an old country western films. Through his creative spirit and love of learning, he inspired those around him to find and follow their own passions.
Bob and his wife, Fran, shared a deep passion for Alabama football. Together, they cheered on the Crimson Tide, enjoying the excitement and camaraderie of game days for many years. Their shared enthusiasm for the team was a cherished aspect of their life together.
Though we mourn his passing, we find comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, reunited with his beloved son, Robert Edward Ellis, Jr., and his dear grandson, Chandler Cole Ellis. He leaves behind his wife, Fran, who was his companion through life’s journey.
Bob leaves behind a loving family and a community forever grateful for his warmth, quick wit, and unwavering kindness. He had a way of making people laugh even in the toughest moments, and his generous heart made everyone feel welcome and valued. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his humor, love, and wisdom will remain in our hearts forever.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home located at 3738 Hwy 431 N, Phenix City, AL 36867 on Saturday, February 22nd where friends and family will gather to honor him, share stories, and remember the man who never met a stranger and always had a smile to share. Visitation will be held at 1PM EST and funeral to follow at 2PM EST.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his honor to the Cole Ellis Foundation at PO Box 242903, Montgomery, AL 36124 or https://www.thecoleellisfoundation.com (https://www.thecoleellisfoundation.com/)
