We are incredibly grateful for this thoughtful act of kindness!❤️

Taylor Thompson along with her daughters Kristen and Emma Grace led a service project called Fuel for Love, collecting snacks from family and friends to get back to our patients at MCC.

With the help of Kristen’s friends, they gathered and delivered a generous donation of snacks, providing comfort and encouragement to those going through treatment. 💛

Gestures like this remind us, how powerful love and community truly are thank you for making such a meaningful impact.

What a great day for the State of Alabama as Governor Kay Ivey signed into law two bills that will be beneficial for so many in this great state.

MCC’s Tina Hodge played a key role in advocacy and awareness for both bills this legislative session.

🩵 Prostate Cancer Screening: Senate Bill 19 requires health insurers to cover prostate cancer screenings. PSA testing and related exams for high‑risk men over 40 and all men over 50 with no copay or deductible. 🩵

🩷 Breast Cancer Screening: House Bill 300 requires insurers to provide coverage for breast cancer screening and related necessary imaging with no copay or deductible.🩷

We loved having students from Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School join us at MCC! 💛

They spent their time giving back to the community by assembling take-home packets for patients and creating sun safety bracelets for our outreach events—helping teach kids the importance of protecting their skin. ☀️

We loved going BLUE at Alabama State University!💙
We had an incredible time on campus, connecting with students and professors, spreading awareness about colorectal cancer, and sharing how early detection can truly save lives. Moments like these are why we do what we do—meeting people where they are and empowering them with knowledge that matters.

The day continued with a beautiful and impactful Women in Blue event hosted by Dr. Petty, with a special guest speaker Dr. Nelson-Garrett.

Grateful to be part of a community that continues to spread hope and shows up for one another.

It’s National Nutrition Month! Although Registered Dietitian Day was last week, we recognize and celebrate the incredible impact our dietitians make every single day! 💙

At Montgomery Cancer Center, our registered dietitians go above and beyond to support, educate, and care for our patients through every step of their journey. Their compassion, expertise, and dedication truly make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
