You stretch your hamstrings every single day.

Hamstrings don’t usually tighten on their own. They tighten because your hips have lost mobility. When the hip joint stops moving well, the hamstrings pick up the slack. They become a stabilizer instead of just a muscle.

Tight hamstrings can actually come from

• limited hip rotation
• overloaded low back
