We’re proud to see AFDA Sustainer Member Firm K.L. Brown Funeral Homes helping inspire the next generation of funeral service professionals.
Zoey, a student from Jacksonville High School, recently spent the day shadowing Craig and learning more about the meaningful work funeral directors do each day.
Associational membership matters.
Today, we have the privilege of welcoming Zoey, a student from Jacksonville High School who is spending the day shadowing Craig and learning about the funeral service profession.
Many people don’t realize that becoming a funeral director can be a meaningful and rewarding career path. Whether you are a high school or college student exploring your future, a veteran transitioning from military service, or someone who has spent years serving others as a pastor or in another helping profession, funeral service offers an opportunity to continue caring for people in some of life’s most important moments.
While our work involves caring for those who have passed, it is equally about caring for the families who walk through our doors. Funeral directors guide families through difficult days with compassion, dignity, and respect, helping them honor the lives of those they love.
We are always encouraged to see young people interested in learning.
Have you ever considered funeral service as a career, or known someone who has?
