It’s so fun to see our customers faces when they see their visions come to life for the first time! We have the BEST customers and our team strives to make sure they are happy. We are excited when we think about the memories that will be made around this table for years to come! Just wondering which of these three it will be passed down to 😊!

Yesterday we had the best pleasure of hosting the ladies from the Lake Martin Garden Club. A great time was had by all, as they were treated to lunch and woodworking.

We don’t have any more dates available for private events this year. Even though we love meeting new friends and sharing the shop, we are fully booked.

We also are not selling gift certificates this Chritmas season, due to our custom furniture workload the next few months. Also, we are expecting two more little Thompson dudes in April ☺️!

We will be putting a Date Night on the calendar in January and one or two in February, around Valentine’s Day.

We also would be glad to talk to you about hosting your corporate event or private party!

As busy as this superstar friend of ours is, she still had time to bring us a basket filled with three homemade soup packages, homemade sourdough bread, and all the fixings!

It’s such an unexpected blessing when you own a business to make relationships with other business owners that feel like family.

Lately we have been helping define as many boardrooms as dining rooms!

Thanks so much to Struthers Recreation for allowing us the opportunity to help make the conference room in their new headquarters a head turner! We brought up the idea of putting the logo in the middle of the tables, and it turned out great! The logos were carved and filled with black colored epoxy. The base is the same as our popular tables at the Montgomery airport. The tables are Ambrosia Maple finished with gel stain.

If you own a business and would love to upgrade your conference table, we would love to help design one or more for you! If you’re going to sit around a table to do business and make decisions, it sure can’t hurt if your clients are impressed!

And with the passage of recent legislation, you can deduct the entire cost of office furniture! It would be a great year end expense!

I used to work alongside these guys in my previous life, and I just have to say that the city of Prattville is in the best hands!

They requested a conference table for their new training facility, so I got to visit with them and feed them barbecue at the shop.

Their budget didn’t allow for Walnut, a rather expensive lumber, in this size table. But we used one inch thick lumber that was hand picked, and built the sides and ends up to appear to be a thick table.

We have been doing this with several of our table builds, to save our customers’ expenses, and the results are awesome.

Lately we have been building more and more conference tables. If you’re ready to upgrade your current conference table, let us help you design one, and it would be a great year end expense.

Honestly, one of the best things about owning a business is meeting and getting to know some awesome customers. Once in a while they are celebrities! Dana and Will founded Wickles Pickles. If you follow us, you know we love Wickles and we use them in our famous pimento cheese and “sawdust sauce”.

We are so blessed to have shared meals with many of our customers/friends at a table that they designed and we built.

We had so much fun putting this video together! A while back a good friend asked about a live edge coffee table, and I wanted to give him a selection. Here are ten species of lumber that we milled and dried, and made coffee table tops!

We are excited to have all these samples in the showroom so our customers can see first hand what each type of lumber looks like.

We can put any base you desire on any of these tops. If you see one that really catches your eye, and would make the perfect piece in your space, hurry up and come see us, as we have limited supplies of each type. Prices range from $500 to $1,100.

Sylvia said make sure and watch to the end, because her favorite is one of the last ones!

The last few days we delivered three tables to Lake Martin homes, and each one was so different than the others.

We think each customer did a fantastic job in envisioning the right table fo their decor.

We were excited to deliver: a Modern ten foot Hickory table, a traditional Walnut round pedestal table, and a rustic live edge Sycamore table.

We love working with our customers and are so glad they have different, wonderful tastes!
