We are a state-of-the-art, inviting, and fun dental practice specializing in children from birth to young adulthood, as well as children with special needs. Dr. Bush is a graduate of UAB Dental School and completed his pediatric dental residency at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. He has been treating children in the River Region since the summer of 2017. BPD also has its very own certified therapy dog named Poppy that can help soothe any stress or anxiety your child may have about going to the dentist. We would love to help your kiddos em’bark on a healthy smile!

Our favorite four-legged team member is TEN! 🐾🎉 Today is Poppy girl’s birthday, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate her!!! 🔟💖😁
Poppy has spent the last decade welcoming our little patients, supervising lots of tiny teeth, helping with dental fears, and counter-surfing for food. 🦷🐶
She deserves all the treats and special love today—and honestly, every day. 🐾🦴

Little smiles, big lessons, and one very popular pup! 🐶🦷✨

We had the best time celebrating Children’s Dental Health Month with the kindergartners and K-4 students at Montgomery Academy and Trinity! 💙 We talked about which foods help keep teeth strong 💪🥕 and which sneaky ones can cause cavities 🍭👀, and read a fun story imagining all the magical ways the Tooth Fairy might use your teeth 🧚‍♀️✨

Of course, the real star of the show was our therapy dog, Poppy, who made sure every student felt brave, calm, and excited about taking care of their smile 🐾😊

Due to the freezing weather and to ensure the safety of our team and patients, our office will have a delayed opening tomorrow at 10:00 AM.

If your child has an appointment before 10:00 we are trying to reach out to get those rescheduled. Once we arrive at the office, our front desk team will also be contacting anyone affected.
