This past week, January 22–24, 2026, representatives from the Alabama State Chiropractic Association (ASCA) traveled to Capitol Hill to participate in the American Chiropractic Association’s (ACA) annual Engage conference. During this full day of advocacy, the ASCA delegation met with the Alabama congressional office, engaging in meaningful conversations to build support for the Chiropractic Medicare Coverage Modernization Act (H.R. 539 / S. 1061).

Pictured alongside ACA leadership are meetings with Congressmen Robert Aderholt, Mike Rogers, and Dale Strong, highlighting the importance of these discussions and Alabama’s strong presence on Capitol Hill.

Thank you to ASCA leadership—Dr. Cary Burnley, ASCA President; Dr. Jillian Bivona, ASCA Vice-President; and Dr. Brad Russell, ASCA Trustee—for their dedication and for proudly representing Alabama and the chiropractic profession at the national level.
