𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝?
It’s not in your head.

Stress activates your sympathetic nervous system.

That increases:
• Muscle tension
• Inflammation
• Pain sensitivity

Your body goes into protection mode.
And protection mode amplifies pain signals.

Center for Pain evaluates the full picture — nervous system, inflammation, structure.
Because understanding pain changes how we treat it.
