No excuses — 2026 and beyond.

I had a moment today and knew exactly what it meant… wellness reset.

So here I am at HOTWORX, getting it in for my mental, physical, and spiritual wellness.

I’m putting these slides in sports mode lol 😅

Today I choose beauty, peace, and softness — not anger or frustration.

Showing up for myself every time. ✨🔥

Leaning into slower days lately—comfy clothes, messy bun, and wrapped in a blanket 🕊️

The past couple of weeks have been a meaningful pause to be present with the people I love and with God.

As a psychologist, I’m reminded that nervous system rest, connection, and stillness aren’t luxuries—they’re essential for well-being.

Spent just 1 hour today—only 4% of my day—focusing on my wellness. 🌿💪🏾🧠 Physically, mentally, and even a little socially (ish) ✅ Feeling recharged and reminded that small intentional moments can make a big difference.

Checked a few important boxes on my wellness list today ✔️

I attended a financial seminar to strengthen my financial wellness, took time to pray and listen to a song I love for my spiritual wellness, chased the puppy around for some physical wellness (and still hitting the 💪🏾), then wrapped it up with an amazing lunch and meaningful conversation with my sis Jessica Shuford which rounded off my list for social wellness today.

Grateful for balance, growth, and moments that fill my cup 🤍

STOP.

This is your sign. ✨

If you’re reading this, congratulations—you’ve found your answer.

Let me ask you something: What would change in your life if you truly prioritized your growth and mental wellness—starting today?

We’re not waiting until 2026. We’re starting now.

Today, I:
Drank my water 💧
Meditated on my Bible verse of the month 📖
Read passages from a book gifted to me by Yulanda King NP

Simple actions, but they mattered. They checked boxes for my physical wellness, spiritual wellness, and mental wellness.

If you’re ready to stop postponing your healing and start your wellness journey—walk with me. 🤍
One day. One habit. One choice at a time.

The holidays can be sweet… and still carry grief. 💔

Like a macaron—beautiful on the outside, fragile on the inside—we often feel pressure to hold it together while missing the ones who should be here.

Not having our loved ones with us during this season can make the joy feel heavier and the silence louder.

Yesterday, I was honored to speak on WSFA-TV about grief during the holidays—because these conversations matter and no one should feel alone in this season.
✨ Protect your mental wellness by setting gentle boundaries
✨ Nourish your spirit with prayer, meditation, or quiet reflection
✨ Honor your grief—love doesn’t disappear, it changes form

Joy and sorrow can coexist. You’re not broken—you’re remembering. 🤍

For one Montgomery family, this holiday season carries a new and painful weight.

This morning I slowed down and made a bowl of oatmeal in my favorite bowl and a full cup of coffee 😄.

These simple moments helped center me and refocus my commitment to my physical and spiritual wellness. Moving with intention reminds me how God guides me even in the quiet, everyday choices—leading me toward balance, gratitude, and care for myself.

What small moments help you reset and refocus?

I don’t know who needs to hear this… but “choose grace today.” 🙏🏾💛

Yes, I ate things over the holiday that weren’t the best for me. Yes, I drank way more soda than I planned. And for a second, I felt myself slipping into guilt.
But then I remembered the ‘grace God freely gives’—the reminder that I can choose again, realign again, and show up for myself again.

Spiritual and mental wellness isn’t about perfection. It’s about awareness. It’s about noticing when you’ve drifted and choosing to come back with compassion instead of criticism.

I’m choosing to reset. I’m choosing to refocus. I’m choosing to honor my mind, body, and spirit with the same grace God pours into me daily.

If you need this reminder too… you’re not alone. Let’s choose grace together. 🌿✨
