We’ve had a special visitor hanging around Wesley Gardens! 🦅
An adult Red-shouldered Hawk has been spotted keeping watch over the grounds. Residents have enjoyed seeing this beautiful bird perched nearby—our newest (and most feathered) member of the security team!

Wesley Gardens was proud to have members of our Administrative Team attend Alzheimer’s Advocacy Day at the Alabama State House, standing alongside advocates and caregivers to support those living with dementia.

We met with legislators to encourage support for Senate Bill 184 / House Bill 375, which would require dementia-specific training for employees in the Adult Protective Services Division of the Alabama Department of Human Resources, helping ensure more informed care and protection for vulnerable adults.

We also showed our support for House Bill 528, legislation that would establish the Alabama Dementia Network within the Department of Public Health to strengthen resources, coordination, and support for families across our state.

At Wesley Gardens, advocating for those living with memory loss isn’t just part of our work — it’s part of our mission. 💜

The Wesley Gardens Diners Club hit the road to the newly refurbished Chris’ Hotdog —
and let’s just say, it did not disappoint! 🌭✨

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about sharing a classic Chris’ Special Dog, crispy fries, and soda drink at a Montgomery favorite that’s been bringing people together for generations. The fresh new look made it even more fun, but the smiles around our table were the best part of all.

Good food. Great friends. Sweet memories.❤️

On Mondays and Wednesdays, our residents gather around the tables, cards in hand, ready with friendly competition in full swing.
It’s not just about the quarters — it’s about laughter, cheering each other on, and those little victory dances when someone yells “BINGO!” 💛
At Wesley Gardens, we don’t just play games… we make memories.

The 🌱 Wesley Gardeners Club is officially in full bloom mode!
This week, our green-thumbed crew gathered to plant seedlings and get a head start on Spring planting. There’s something special about watching tiny seeds tucked into the soil — a little faith, a little patience, and a whole lot of love.
Our residents didn’t just plant tomatoes, peppers, zinnias, chamomile, and bachelor buttons seeds in advance of the season 🌱 … they planted hope, memories, and the promise of warmer days ahead. 🌼🌷
