A transitional payment for home infusion is on the horizon! The Home Health Final Payment Rule, released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in November 2018, establishes a transitional payment for home health infusion therapy services for 2019 and 2020 and creates a permanent home health care infusion therapy benefit under Medicare Part B beginning in 2021.
