APA was happy to be in D.C. last week for the NCPA Congressional Fly-in. APA's Louise Jones and Danielle Cole had the opportunity, along with other advocates from Alabama, to meet with members of our state's congressional delegation to discuss issues that impact pharmacy practice.

It’s been a big couple of weeks for Senator Tom Butler. Recently honored with the Hubert Humphrey Award at APhA’s Annual Meeting, he was also recognized this week by the Alabama Senate with SJR 119 for his years of service. He was joined on the Senate floor by his wife Karen as colleagues reflected on his impactful work in both the House and Senate. A pharmacist and longtime champion of the profession, APA joins in thanking him for his service and wishes him all the best in his retirement at the end of this term.
