Established in 1961, Easter Seals Central Alabama serves children and adults suffering from autism spectrum disorders. The agency operates the Nurse Aide Training Program for individuals to enter health care field. It provides job opportunities in the areas of assembling, sorting, packaging and collating. Easter Seals Central Alabama offers vocational evaluation, career counseling and consulting s

ervices for individuals, businesses and government agencies. The agency features early intervention and speech therapy programs for individuals with developmental delays, articulation disorders, motor dysfunction and cognitive impairments. It provides assistance with improvement of reading, writing and math skills. Easter Seals Central Alabama offers a range of medical equipment, including portable wheelchair ramps, patient lifts, sensory aids crutches and walkers.
