Oak Grove Inn at Grove Park marks The Standard of Excellence in Today’s Senior Living offering both Independent and Assisted Living apartment units. The Independent Living apartments come in your choice of one or two bedrooms and seven floor plans. Each apartment comes with a fully furnished kitchen, washer/dryer units, and either a balcony or patio so you can enjoy the professionally landscaped and maintained grounds. Other amenities include weekly housekeeping, and meals prepared daily by our Fine Dining Staff which can be enjoyed in the dining room or in the comfort of your own apartment. Also included is a 24-hour monitored emergency response system to provide you and your family peace of mind. The Assisted Living features studio, one and two bedroom units to suit your preference and needs. It is staffed 24 hours a day with personnel to provide residents with the assistance and supervision needed. In addition, other services include daily housekeeping, laundry service, wellness checks, and three meals each day. Meals are served in our dining room or you may choose to have it delivered to your apartment. Both Independent and Assisted Living residents can take advantage of a variety of services which sets Oak Grove Inn above others. Some of the amenities include complimentary transportation/Concierge Service, an on-site Beauty/Barber shop, planned activities and events to strengthen mind and body, and private dining and special event catering for resident hosted functions. Oak Grove Inn residents also have access to the Grove Park Clubhouse which houses a private clubroom, an indoor heated pool, whirlpool bath, and a fitness center. There are also plenty of walking trails and two fully stocked lakes for the fishing enthusiast. We were so blessed today to welcome Pastor Mark Waldo from St. John’s Church as he shared a beautiful and meaningful message for Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent.

As we received Communion and the ashes were gently marked on our foreheads, we were reminded of this solemn season leading up to Jesus’ death. It was a humbling moment of reflection and gratitude for the ultimate sacrifice made for us.

Thank you, Pastor Mark, for guiding us into this sacred season with such a heartfelt message.

Mardi Gras 2026 was truly one for the books! 💜💚💛
We were so honored to welcome back former resident and last year’s Mardi Gras King, Jeff Mayton, who helped us celebrate in royal style!

A huge thank you to the sweet ladies from Home Care Assistance and SouthernCare Beacon Hospice for treating us to delicious, freshly baked King Cakes from Liger’s Bakery — they were absolutely amazing!

The talented Alley Stompers Band kept the house rocking with lively jazz that kept everyone in great spirits!

And congratulations to the lucky lady who found the baby in her King Cake — our new Mardi Gras Queen, Ramona Reeves!

We had an absolute blast celebrating together. Let the good times roll!

We ended our Valentine’s Celebration with a Valentine’s party of course !

The talented Frank Clem sang and played some wonderful love songs! We danced , reminisced, and sang along to some old familiar favorites!

Candace and associates from Cornerstone Caregiving provided delicious (and beautiful) Valentine cookies and they surprised us with beautiful flowers and homemade cards from a very sweet fourth grade class!

It was an absolutely wonderful day!

Teddy stole the show (and a few hearts!) dressed to the nines in his dashing Valentine’s tux. He was more than ready to spread the love with sweet snuggles and plenty of puppy kisses! 💋🐶

We enjoyed a fabulous filet mignon luncheon complete with all the trimmings thanks to our skilled Dietary staff ! Absolutely delicious!
