What an incredible turnout for our Lawrence County Hospital health fair. We had fire trucks, ambulances, giveaways, and lots of smiles and fun!! Below is an update from the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office:

Lawrence County 911 is now back up and operational. Unless there are unexpected problems with the repairs, we expect the 911 service to operate as normal.
Please remember when calling 911 from a cellular phone there will be a slight delay between the time that the call begins and a radio operator picks up the emergency line. This is normal; the cell phone is searching for the nearest tower.
