The calm after the storm, shows the strength of Lawrence County. This picture was taken at 3a this morning. Your first responders responded throughout the night to last nights violent storm. Your Emergency Management, Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Coroner, dispatch, and road crews quickly mitigated all the emergency calls we received, cleared roads, and provided assistance. There are still trees down so please drive carefully. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was negatively impacted last night.
