Starting next week, KMC Active will be running a mid-morning exercise class at the Atwood Elementary location from 8:30am to 9:30am.

We’re excited to welcome students to a new academic year and share the opportunity to apply for the Thomas Dixon Memorial Scholarship for the 2026–2027 school year.

📬 Submission deadline: March 20, 2026

The Kirby Auxiliary will review applications and make scholarship decisions in the weeks following the deadline.

Wrapping Up the Semester in Cerro Gordo!

Kirby Medical Center wrapped up the semester with our final Health & Wellness class for the Cerro Gordo 7th Grade on Thursday, December 11.

Today’s lesson focused on Financial and Occupational Wellness, two key dimensions from the 8 Dimensions of Health Wellness Wheel. Students explored real-life skills, future pathways, and what it means to build a healthy foundation for their adult lives.

This marks the second year of collaboration between Kirby Medical Center and Cerro Gordo 7th Grade Health—and we’re proud to continue supporting wellness education for our local students!

Each year, local elementary students share their creativity with us through the Kirby Holiday Card Design Contest. Congratulations to our winner, Zoe Burbridge of Bement Elementary, whose festive design will be featured on our official Kirby Christmas card. 🎄✨

We were thrilled to celebrate Zoe and our runner-ups in the Monticello Christmas Parade, where they joined us on the Kirby float to showcase their designs. 🌟
