Gobble gobble! Turkey day is just around the corner, and a side of salmonella is not on the menu! If you're undertaking the task of cooking a whole turkey in the oven, pay attention to the weight of your bird to know how long to cook it, and at what temperature. If you’re in charge of the Thanksgiving bird this year, here's a handy chart to make it super simple. Just find your turkey's weight and pop it in the fridge on the right day so it's thawed and safe by Thanksgiving. 🦃

The Christmas season is upon us! What better way to celebrate the season than ice skating in beautiful, downtown Monticello?

The Monticello Tourist Commission is proud to sponsor an ice skating rink in downtown Monticello. Admission is FREE, but we will be hosting a canned food drive to benefit the House of Blessings. If you are able, please donate canned or nonperishable food items when you come to enjoy the skating rink.

Thank you to the City of Monticello, Kentucky and Wayne County Fiscal Court for allowing the rink to be placed at the Downtown Market Pavillion.
