Every year tries to convince us it’s about things.

But the magic has always been simpler than that …
it’s the laughter, the presence, the people who show up.

Who are your people this season? ❤️🎄❤️

Surrendering my life to God was the best decision I’ve ever made. Not because everything suddenly became easy, but because I finally stopped trying to carry everything on my own. I realized that control was exhausting me and fear was shaping my choices. Surrender didn’t mean giving up on my dreams—it meant trusting them to hands far wiser than mine.

Before surrender, I lived with constant pressure to figure everything out, to anticipate every outcome, and to protect myself from disappointment. I prayed, but I still held tightly to my own plans. When I finally let go, something shifted. I found peace where anxiety once lived. I found direction where confusion used to rule. And I found rest in knowing I didn’t have to understand every step to keep moving forward.

Surrender taught me that God’s guidance is gentle, not forceful. He doesn’t rush me, shame me, or demand perfection. He walks with me patiently, teaching me through both victories and setbacks. When I trusted His timing instead of my urgency, doors opened that I never could have forced. And when doors closed, I learned they were closing for my protection, not my punishment.

Giving my life to God reshaped how I see myself. I stopped defining my worth by achievement, approval, or comparison. I began to see myself as deeply known and deeply loved. Surrender gave me the courage to release relationships that were draining me and the wisdom to welcome ones that brought peace. It helped me let go of fear-based decisions and choose faith instead.

There were moments when surrender felt uncomfortable—when God asked me to wait, to trust, or to walk away without all the answers. But every time I obeyed, I grew stronger. I learned that surrender doesn’t weaken you; it anchors you. It doesn’t take away your voice; it helps you hear His more clearly.

Looking back, I see how surrender saved me from paths that would have cost me my peace. I see how it healed parts of me I didn’t know were broken. I see how it brought clarity out of chaos and purpose out of pain. Surrender didn’t remove challenges—it gave me the strength and faith to face them.

Surrendering my life to God was the best decision I’ve ever made because it gave me freedom. Freedom from fear. Freedom from control. Freedom from carrying burdens I was never meant to hold alone. And no matter what the future holds, I know I’m not walking it by myself—and that makes all the difference.

God, remind me every hour that You are **for me**, You are **with me**, and You are **within me**. When my thoughts drift into worry, pull me back to this truth. When I start doubting myself, let Your reassurance rise louder than fear. When the day feels overwhelming, anchor me in the peace of knowing I’m not doing life alone.

Remind me that You are **for me**—working on my behalf even when I can’t see it, protecting me from what I don’t recognize, and guiding me toward what is good. When doors close, let me trust Your wisdom. When plans change, let me believe You’re still leading. Help me stop interpreting delays as rejection and start seeing them as direction.

Remind me that You are **with me**—in every room I walk into, every conversation I navigate, and every moment I feel uncertain. When I feel lonely, let Your presence be real to me. When I feel anxious, help me breathe in calm. When I feel tired, strengthen me. Let me sense You beside me in the quiet and in the noise, in the easy moments and the hard ones.

Remind me that You are **within me**—giving me strength I didn’t know I had, wisdom when I don’t know what to say, and courage when I want to shrink back. Help me respond with grace, speak with clarity, and walk with confidence. Let Your Spirit steady my heart, correct my attitude, and guide my choices.

Make this truth my rhythm today. Hour by hour, moment by moment, remind me: You are for me, You are with me, and You are within me. Amen.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. - Romans 10:17

Lord, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, and I need my faith to grow strong and deep.

I want to believe more fully, trust more completely, walk with greater confidence in who You are and what You've promised.

Teach me that faith isn't something I manufacture on my own but something that grows as I hear Your Word, as I saturate my mind with Your truth.

Your Word is living and active, sharper than any sword, and when I read it, study it, meditate on it, faith begins to rise in places where doubt once lived.

Help me prioritize hearing from You, opening Your Word daily, listening for Your voice, allowing Scripture to shape my thoughts and strengthen my belief.

Remind me that every time I engage with Your Word, faith is being built, promises are being planted, truth is taking root that will sustain me in every season.

Give me hunger for Your Word that goes beyond obligation, a genuine desire to know what You've said, to let it transform how I think and live.

Let my faith grow stronger today through hearing Your Word, and may I be quick to listen, slow to doubt, and eager to believe everything You've spoken.

Amen.

Lord, show me the next step to take, because I don't need to see the whole journey, I just need light for the path right in front of me.

I'm standing at a crossroads, unsure which way to go, overwhelmed by decisions and possibilities, and I need Your clear direction for what comes next.

Teach me to trust You one step at a time, to take the next right step without demanding a map of the entire journey, to walk by faith even when I can't see far ahead.

You've promised that Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, not a floodlight for the whole road, but enough illumination for the step I'm on.

Help me be obedient to what You've already shown me, to act on the guidance I have rather than waiting for complete clarity about everything that's coming.

Remind me that You lead Your children progressively, revealing the path as we walk it, inviting us to trust You with the unknown while we follow what's known.

Give me peace about taking the next step even when it's small, even when it doesn't seem significant, trusting that You're ordering my steps and directing my path.

Let me move forward in confidence today, not because I can see the destination but because I trust the Guide, taking the next step You've illuminated and leaving the rest in Your hands.

Amen.

There are those who live life powerfully and those who watch others jealously. Don't be deterred by your critics or discouraged by your doubters. They will have to explain themselves to God one day. You be you. You do you. And you, remember that when you fix your eyes on Jesus–the author and the finish of your faith–you will live in a way that gets both heaven’s attention and hell’s attention. Stay grounded in the things of God. Keep listening. Seek peace and pursue it. And leave the agitators to God. You have a powerful life to live, and with God’s help you will.
