Kirby Auxiliary's Social Group hosted last night an interactive and informative Focaccia Bread Class. Leah Bodine of Blue Dragonfly Catering taught us how to make and then add art on our bread. We took our creations home, baked it, and thoroughly enjoyed a very tasty addition to our dinner!
Thank you Amy Hoss for organizing this for our members and bringing the wine!

🫵New members are always welcome to join our organization. Yearly fee is $15. Applications are available at Kirby Auxiliary Gift Shop or online Kirby Auxiliary website page.
Below are many of the volunteering options that we support throughout the year:
*Kirby Gift Shop M-F 8am - 5pm
*Monthly fund raising events at KMC
*6 Blood Drives (always need cookies/bars)
*May Hospital Week or any other event that the hospital needs our help
*August Vendor Event at KMC Active
*September Thrift Sale
*November Kirby Gift Shop Open House
*December Allerton Holiday Showcase

You can pick and choose what you would like to volunteer and what works in your schedule.
We all come together in July for our Annual Luncheon. Newly added is our monthly Socials.
All our proceeds from the Gift Shop and Fundraisers go into the Kirby Medical Center Equipment Fund and then at the annual luncheon we present a check for needed equipment to KMC.

Vendor Applications Now Open for Market on the Prairie! ✨🌾

The Kirby Auxiliary is now accepting vendor applications for Market on the Prairie — happening Saturday, August 22 from 9am-3pm at KMC Active in Monticello.

We’re looking for unique vendors to be part of this specially curated market. If you offer handmade goods, boutique items, specialty foods, or other one-of-a-kind products, we’d love to hear from you! We welcome boutique trucks and outdoor vendors as well.

In recognition of National Heart Month and Cardiac Rehab Week, we recognize Heidi Grieser and Janene Gillespie for their dedication to helping patients recover, rebuild confidence, and improve their heart health. Cardiac rehab requires expertise, compassion, patience and teamwork, and they consistently demonstrate all of these qualities. We are truly grateful for everything they do, not just during National Heart Month, but all year long!

TODAY - February 5th, Thursday, Kirby Auxiliary brings four local vendors to Kirby Medical Center's Outreach Room, next to the Apple a Day Cafe from 9 am - 3 pm for you to shop and select some Valentine treats or gifts for yourself or your someone special.

🌎Alane Phelps, representing Norwex cleaning supplies will have some pay and carry items, but also will be able to take orders. Over the years, Norwex has grown from microfiber to natural personal care, helping families reduce harmful chemicals and live cleaner, safer lives.

🧁Diana McPheeters, also known as Cakes by Mrs. Pete's, will be selling her delicious creative creations in the form of cupcakes. Beware, they are scrumptious and you cannot stop at one!

We are sure you can find something special with these local vendors. Proceeds from this event helps support Kirby Medical Center Equipment Fund.

Please note: Jen's Bakery is no longer able to attend our Valentine's Day fundraiser tomorrow, February 5th. But don't worry! You can still get your cookie fix because Pies by Inge will be there with a selection of Valentines decorated cookies. 🩷
