Hey guys!! It’s Kate! I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how fast everything feels. Life is so go, go, go and it’s easy to feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or like you don’t have time to just slow down and be around good people.
So I’ve been working on an idea called the Exquisitely Connected Club. It would be a community focused space for young women and women to come together and prioritize their mental wellness in a way that feels fun, low pressure, and genuinely connecting.
The vision is Sunday meetups this summer (end of May through early August), where each week looks a little different but always centers around connection and doing something good for yourself. Some days might be a walk at Allerton, coffee and a journaling session, pickleball, or something simple like ice cream and mini golf.
Then there would also be a few bigger events like yoga, creative workshops, or small wellness experiences.
The goal is to create something that feels calm, inviting, and real. Not cliquey or judgmental. Just a space where you can show up, meet new people, and feel more connected to yourself and others.
I’m still figuring out some details and would really love input. This whole idea is just in the brainstorming process so I’d love to hear any and all ideas you may have! Would this be something you’d be interested in? What kinds of activities would you want to see? And what would feel like a reasonable price for something like this?
Also if you’re a local business or someone who would want to collaborate, host, or be involved in any way, I’d love to connect.
After my first journal workshop yesterday I’m feeling super inspired and motivated about trying to build something meaningful and see where it goes!
Here’s a link to a quick Google Form that I’d appreciate anyone filling out:
