Scarecrow Crafting Brings Smiles at Valley View!

Our residents had a wonderful time creating festive scarecrow crafts today! With colorful materials, plenty of laughter, and helping hands all around, each scarecrow turned out as unique as the residents who made them. We love seeing creativity shine and memories made at Valley View!

HONORING OUR VETERANS 🇺🇸
Yesterday we celebrated our resident Veterans with a heartfelt program of music, stories, and gratitude. Leah Hill opened the ceremony with a beautiful rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner, and Valerie Ramin followed with a moving performance of America the Beautiful on the viola. Personal stories were shared about each of our Veterans, honoring their service and sacrifice. Guests enjoyed festive red, white, and blue parfaits as refreshments — a sweet way to end a meaningful celebration!

NO TRICKS — JUST CARE! HALLOWEEN EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO COVID PRECAUTIONS

While we always look forward to celebrating Halloween with our community, this year’s Trick-or-Treat event scheduled for Tuesday, October 28th has been cancelled due to COVID safety concerns.
Our top priority is protecting the health and well-being of our residents, staff, and visitors.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support. Although we can’t celebrate together in person, our team is planning some fun in-house activities to keep the Halloween spirit alive for our residents! 🎃🧡

🎃 PUMPKIN RING TOSS FUN AT VALLEY VIEW! 👻

Residents at Valley View had a spook-tacular time participating in our festive Pumpkin Ring Toss! Laughter and friendly competition filled the room as everyone took turns aiming for the perfect toss. This seasonal activity brought out big smiles, lots of cheering, and a wonderful sense of camaraderie.

We love creating moments like these that blend fun, movement, and connection — and our residents proved once again that you’re never too old to enjoy a little Halloween magic!

🚐 A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME IN COGAN STATION!

Residents enjoyed a beautiful country ride this week and made a special stop at the Blooming Grove Historical Society in Cogan Station! Upon arrival, they were greeted by our very own Valley View receptionist, Joan London, along with Harold London and Pat Kiess, who guided everyone through the incredible collection of artifacts on display.

From unique local treasures to fascinating pieces of community history, our residents soaked in every moment and learned so much along the way. The stories shared sparked wonderful conversations and memories!

A heartfelt thank you to Joan, Harold, and Pat for bringing history to life. 🧡

🐾 LITTLE MISS SHOWS US HOW IT'S DONE!

Valley View had an adorable visitor today — Little Miss, the sweetest little pup with a big message! She stopped by to remind us all how important it is to stay safe and healthy — modeling the perfect way to wear a mask! 😷
