What if your back pain…
isn’t actually coming from your back?

What if your neck tension…
is connected to something happening somewhere else?

𝐈𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬.

Your fascia connects everything.

That’s why treating only the painful spot
often leads to short-term relief… not real results.

This is where most people get stuck.

Real change starts when you stop chasing symptoms—
and start understanding the whole system.

We’ve all heard it:
“𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭.”

But if stretching worked…
why are so many people still dealing with the same tightness every day?

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡:

Stretching targets the muscles.
But your pain might be coming from your fascia, the system that connects your entire body.

If that system is restricted,
no amount of stretching alone will create lasting change.

That’s why you feel temporary relief…
then the tightness comes right back.

It’s not about doing more.
It’s about doing what actually works.

You stretch.
You move.
You even try to “fix your posture."

But somehow… that tight, stuck feeling keeps coming back.

𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫?

Most people assume it’s just tight muscles.
But often, it’s your fascia, the connective tissue that wraps around everything in your body.

When fascia becomes restricted, it doesn’t just affect one spot…
It creates that overall feeling of stiffness you can’t quite shake off.

That’s why quick fixes don’t last.

“𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱… 𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁?”🤔

You were told everything looks “fine.”
But something doesn’t feel right…

👉There’s pulling when you move
👉Tightness that never fully goes away
👉A feeling like your body is “stuck” in certain positions

If that sounds familiar, you’re not imagining it.

Scar tissue doesn’t just sit on the surface.
It can affect how your entire body moves.

In this video, we break down what structural integration of scars really means—and why forcing or aggressively working on scar tissue isn’t always the answer.

Instead, there’s a more effective approach:
✨Working with your body, not against it
✨Restoring natural movement
✨Helping your body feel more connected and free again

This perspective has helped clients experience real changes—even years after surgery.

If you’ve been living with that subtle (or not-so-subtle) restriction… this might be the missing piece.

You wake up, step out of bed… and feel that sharp, nagging pain in your foot again.

At first, you brush it off.
“Maybe I just slept weird.”
“Maybe I walked too much yesterday.”

But then it keeps happening.
Every step feels a little more uncomfortable.
Walking the dog, going to work, even standing in the kitchen — it starts to add up.

Here’s the truth most people don’t realize:
𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭.

It can be connected to how your entire body moves, your posture, your fascia, even how you distribute weight throughout the day.

At Resilience Occupational Therapy, we don’t just chase the pain.
We look at the root cause, so you can move freely again, without overthinking every step.

Most people think “health” means not being sick.

But what if you’re not sick… yet still struggling every day?

👉 You wake up with stiffness in your back
👉 Your neck feels tight after just a few hours of work
👉 Simple tasks like lifting, walking, or sitting comfortably feel harder than they should

That’s not just “getting older.”
That’s your body asking for better support, alignment, and care.

At Resilience Occupational Therapy, we approach health differently.

We don’t just look at symptoms; we look at how your whole body moves, functions, and adapts in daily life.

Through Structural Integration and Occupational Therapy, we help you:

✨ Restore natural alignment
✨ Improve movement efficiency
✨ Reduce chronic tension and pain
✨ Reconnect with your body’s full potential

𝗔𝘀 𝗜𝗱𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱:
“When the body gets working appropriately, the force of gravity can flow through.”

And when that happens, movement feels lighter, pain decreases, and daily life becomes easier again.

Health is not just survival.
It’s the ability to live fully in your body.

This 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲🌍, take a moment to ask yourself:
“𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲?”

If the answer is not great, you don’t have to stay stuck there.

Many people think that once surgery heals… the story ends there.

But for many folks after gender-affirming top surgery, something unexpected can remain — tightness, limited mobility, or a feeling that the body hasn’t fully settled yet.

In this video, 𝗦𝘆𝗻 𝗚. shares their real experience after scar work with Irvin at Resilience Occupational Therapy.

What surprised them most?
✨ Feeling a noticeable difference in their scar tissue after just one session.
✨ Realizing that limited movement doesn’t always mean pain — but it can still affect daily life.
✨ Discovering that gentle scar work can help the body reconnect and move more freely again.

Scar work isn’t about forcing change or “fixing” your body.
It’s about listening to your body, working at your pace, and creating space for comfort and integration.

And one important reminder:
𝗡𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 “𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗼𝗹𝗱” 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵.

Whether you’re weeks, months, or years post-surgery, support is possible.
