Clarification about my practice locations:

I’ve heard from a few people that there’s been some confusion about whether I’m moving my practice to Northfield or leaving Montpelier. Just to be clear — I am not leaving Montpelier and have no plans to do so. Montpelier remains my primary practice location.

I’ve simply added some additional availability in Northfield as a second location. You can book appointments in either location, depending on what works best for you.

I currently accept BCBSVT and Medicare in both locations, will be accepting Medicaid soon, and also offer self-pay.

Thanks to everyone who reached out to check in — I appreciate it.

Episode 101 is live.

For this one, the tables are turned — Jeremy hosts, and I reflect on what’s held up after 100 conversations on resilience, pain, movement, and practice.

This isn’t a highlight reel or a “best of.”
It’s a look at patterns that keep showing up, ideas that haven’t aged out, and what resilience actually looks like over time — not in theory, but in real lives.

If you’ve listened to Resilience Radio before, this episode puts a frame around the whole project.
If you’re new, it’s a good place to understand what the show is really about.

Your knee doesn’t work in isolation — it’s connected to the rest of your body. Tight fascia around the hip, thigh, or lower leg can pull on the knee and change how it moves.

This means knee pain can start upstream or downstream. That’s why just treating the knee sometimes isn’t enough. By addressing fascia and movement patterns, we help your whole system move more smoothly.

Knee pain isn’t always just “𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗿.”

It often comes from how your whole lower body moves — tight fascia, hip weakness, or ankle restrictions can shift how your knee tracks.

Your knee depends on support from your hip, foot, and core. When those areas aren’t working well together, your knee takes the stress.

🎉 Episode 100 of Resilience Radio is live on YouTube 🎉

This episode continues my conversation with Dr. Turner Osler on movement, ergonomics, and why simply “standing more” isn’t the solution people think it is.

We talk about:
• Why movement matters more than posture
• Where standing desks fall short
• How small changes in how you move can add up over a day
• What ergonomics should actually support in real life

▶️ Watch here:
https://youtu.be/IxFvRYgzr24

This is Part 2 of our conversation — not a retrospective or special interview — and builds directly on the ideas from the first episode.

If you’re interested in pain, recovery, or designing environments that support real movement, I think you’ll find this one useful.

In this milestone Episode 100 of Resilience Radio, Irvin Eisenberg sits down with Turner Osler to explore how ergonomics, posture, and movement intersect — a...

In this video, Irvin breaks down how:
✅ Posture and daily habits affect your neck and head
✅ Fascial restrictions from the shoulders to the skull contribute to pain
✅ Stress and nervous system sensitivity amplify headaches

If you’re tired of blaming your head and want a full-body understanding of your pain, this video is a must-watch.

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 11 𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 — nearly as much as a bowling ball? 😳
Now imagine your neck holding that all day while you’re sitting, working, scrolling, or driving.

Forward head posture isn’t just a “𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺.”
It increases strain on the neck muscles and fascia, which can lead to:
🧠 Tension headaches
🔁 Neck tightness
💆‍♂️ Scapular and jaw discomfort
And sometimes pain that feels like it’s in your head, not your neck.

Balance, movement awareness, gentle manual work, and mindful stretching can reduce that strain and help you feel lighter and more mobile.

It usually doesn’t happen all at once.

𝗜𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵:
• Sitting a little longer than usual
• Carrying stress in your body without noticing
• Ignoring that “𝒔𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆” because life is busy
• Telling yourself, “𝑰𝒕’𝒍𝒍 𝒈𝒐 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚.”

Until one day, your back reminds you it’s been keeping score.

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.
And when we change the pattern, the pain often changes too.

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
If your back pain story feels a little too relatable, let’s talk.

In this new video, Irvin Eisenberg, OT and Structural Integrator at Resilience Occupational Therapy, explains why back pain often comes from other systems in the body.

You’ll learn:
✅ How digestion and abdominal pressure can create back pain
✅ Why your fascia — from feet to head — plays a major role in tension
✅ How biomechanics (feet, knees, hips) influence low back load
✅ How your nervous system + fear of movement can intensify pain

If you want a clear, whole-body understanding of where pain really comes from (and what you can do about it), this video will shift the way you think about your back.
