Dr. Hansen and I have worked together at The Bear Lake Family Care Clinic in Montpelier, Idaho for over ten years. He is leaving after this week and I will certainly miss working side by side with him. He has diligently served our community with a commitment to excellence and personalized service. I will miss him as both a friend and an exemplary colleague.
For a few weeks in January and February I will also be absent from the clinic as I deal with a health concern of my own. I anticipate being out for a period of about five weeks then I plan to return to work. With that in mind, I want to provide an update and an invitation.
My good friends Dr. Brinkerhoff and Dr. Haupricht will be coming in January and February to oversee care of patients in my place. I worked with both of them during medical residency in Indiana. They are good friends and they kindly offered to help me and our community at this challenging time. I worked closely with each of them for years and I fully trust their judgement and expertise. They will work along with Alex Moss, PA-C, who will continue to be available to help with any needs.
We are working to find a permanent replacement for Dr. Hansen. I invite you to continue to count on The Bear Lake Family Care Clinic for your medical needs. It is an honor to be entrusted to oversee medical care for members of our community. We will continue to do our very best to provide excellent service in obstetrics, pediatrics, and all primary care needs. Thank you for your trust and patience during the next few months.
