Needing some time to reset and ground?
Join myself and Hope on Friday 11/21 from 5:30-7 for an incredibly restorative yoga practice with therapeutic touch.

Happy 6th birthday to me!

I started my business in 2019, full of hope and a new found passion for bodywork and Chinese Medicine. 6 years later, i am still fully devoted to this practice of learning, of giving, of receiving…

All of the people who are on my table and mat are a part of that evolution - I cannot thank you enough for your support in my business and I’m so so grateful to continuously find people who are curious about healing themselves through somatic practice.

HAPPY 3 years to us!

And what a wild three years it has been.

I remember feeling scared at the beginning of the pandemic. I lost both of my jobs, didn’t have a secure place to live, and had no idea what the future would hold. I breathed and stretched and meditated my way through the already challenging Spring transition.

I am so so so pleased to have stuck with this work and my intentions. It has been an honor to work with you, to share with you, to create a container for your healing.

I think we live in a false reality of control most of the time. We never know what the next day might give or take. I am so grateful for today, for right now, and I celebrate this sweet birthday with all of you.

Keep tapping into yourself. It’s a well of magic in there ✨🌖

A poem I wrote a few years ago that seems to fit the times.

This feeling of an unsettled mind in the middle of the night: the turning of my belly as I ruminate over things I cannot control, in a world that is so beautiful and terrifying all at the same time.

Hope you enjoy.

"Be Still"
-----------

The wind cuts waves through the trees
leaves dancing and singing.
The exploding green countryside of a wet new england
smells like the comfort of home.

And still
my mind isn’t.

At night, fireflies dance on the darkened horizon.
The chickens cluck themselves to sleep.
The stars sprinkle a netted blanket over my head.

but still,
My mind isn’t.

I wake in the middle of the dark
Feet tucked into boots
And walk.

The stars are dripping on me
with hopes of pleasant dreams.

I can’t ever remember my dreams.

The night time gives space for memory to evolve
into something fabricated,
unreal,
figments of fragments.

The sky tells me to breathe
and fill my lungs all the way up.
I pause at the top of my breath -
Be still.

My mind isn’t.

I walk in my sleep
and forget where i am.
I am still -
standing,
feet tucked into boots

but in the darkness
I could be anywhere.
