As a mental health coach and peer support provider for the last 5 years, I’ve worked with a wide range of people. While every adult is ultimately responsible for their own healing, much of that healing often involves addressing the ways they were raised—or how they perceived their upbringing.

NO parent is perfect and two children can have the same parent, but a different experience.

How does understanding this help us parent in ways that honor our children, create safe and healthy boundaries, and build trust and respect—while we continue working on ourselves as adults and navigating the natural ebbs and flows of life?

That is something we will address in the upcoming online parenting course starting Oct. 22, 2025 @ 5pm.

I struggled with anxiety, depression, and panic attacks for many years as a mother of very small children. It was difficult to feel like I was being a success at the whole mothering thing. I felt like a failure on a daily basis. I would often say we would do something, only to not follow through. Being a mother of a large family was my only dream and to have the experience I had was defeating.

My one tip if you are in this stage of life is to apologize. Say SORRY! Our children love us and want to feel close to us. When we apologize and take accountability for our reactions, inactions, and actions, they know we respect and love them. Apologizing does a lot to heal broken trust and broken hearts.

I am starting an online parenting course Wednesday Oct. 22 at 5pm.

We will skip the Wednesday of Thanksgiving break and finish the week before Christmas.

Now is the best time to get in on this course as the price will only go up from here. This will be my BETA test and I am charging $50 for this 8-week course in exchange for your reviews and feedback.

This isn't a class about gentle parenting and this isnt a class on fear-based parenting. The tools you'll learn will help you create a strong foundation of trust with your kids and yourself, good communication skills, and self-confidence in yourself and your role as a mentor and guide to your children.

As a homeachool mom to 9 children ranging in ages of 22 to 5, I have experience with all age groups. I am not a perfect parent and every child is different. Learning how to adapt and adjust to different personalities, characters, and attitudes has been a personal strength. I believe that it is something every parent can learn. I also believe that giving ourselves grace in this parenting journey is vital. A family is the perfect place to learn, grow, and heal. Our children learn, we learn.
