HOW TO: 2026 Firework Art Craft 🎆

This easy, mess-friendly craft is perfect for little hands and big creativity—plus it’s great for fine motor skills!

What you need:
• Black construction paper
• Washable paint (red, yellow, blue, green)
• Pipe cleaners
• Paper plate (for paint)

How to make it:
1️⃣ Bend one end of a pipe cleaner outward to create a “firework” shape.
2️⃣ Dip the bent end into paint on the paper plate.
3️⃣ Press and stamp onto black paper.
4️⃣ Repeat with different colors and rotate the pipe cleaner to create a bursting effect.
5️⃣ Let dry—and admire your 2026 fireworks show! ✨

💡 Tip: Encourage kids to use both hands or switch hands to build coordination.

How to Make a Gingerbread Person Craft for Kids 🍪 ✂️

This easy gingerbread person craft is a fun holiday activity for kids that also supports fine motor skill development. Perfect for home, classrooms, or pediatric therapy sessions.

What you need:
– Brown construction paper
– Child-safe scissors
– Pencil or marker
– Googly eyes
– Pom-poms
– Glue
– Black marker
– White marker or glue for icing details

How to:
1. Trace a gingerbread person shape onto brown paper
2. Cut out the shape
3. Glue on googly eyes
4. Draw a smile with a marker
5. Add pom-poms for buttons
6. Finish with icing-style details

This holiday craft helps kids practice scissor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and following multi-step directions. 🎄

We’re spreading a little extra holiday magic this season, and we’d love your help 🎁💫

From now through December 18, we’re collecting new, unwrapped toys to donate to children who could use a little joy this holiday season. All donations will be delivered to Sparks of Love on December 19th.

If you have a toy looking for a new home, drop it off anytime Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm. Thank you for helping us brighten a child’s holiday 💛
