Walk-in hours with Dr. Gibran start tomorrow (March 16th)!

Here is what you need to know:
👉 Located at 100 Hospital Drive, Physicians Office Suite
👉 Patients must be 18 years and older
👉 Please bring your photo ID and Insurance card(s), if applicable
👉 Wait times may vary based on volume of Dr. Gibran’s patients
👉 EMHS accepts most insurances, however, the best course of action to verify is to call your insurance company directly and inquire. The member services number can be found on the back of your insurance card!

As always, you can still schedule appointments with Dr. Gibran and all EMHS Physicians by calling 570-278-3801.

We are looking for reliable, friendly, motivated individuals to join our Nutritional Services team!

Minimum Requirements:
✔️ High School Graduate or Equivalent
✔️ Basic Math skills (able to convert recipes)
✔️ Able to read and communicate in English
✔️ In good Physical health (able to stand for long periods of time and lift up 30 pounds)

Our full time cook will be responsible for the preparation of meals for patients and cafeteria meals for visitors and staff. This position will require you to be ServSafe certified, however, EMHS will assist with the course and testing fees. The right person for this job will be task-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to multi-task. You will work alongside dietary aides to assemble meals and patient trays in accordance to diet restrictions and special orders. Prior kitchen experience is preferred though we are willing to train the right candidate!

Our part time dietary aide will be scheduled for 3 days per week. This position is responsible for assisting the cook with food preparation and tray assembly, delivering food to patients and visitors, kitchen and dishes clean-up and sanitization. No prior experience is necessary but the preferred candidate will be able to work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision and pay attention to detail!

We’re excited to share that another five students from Endless Mountain Health Systems have officially completed their journey and there’s more to come later this week as additional students finish their hands-on experience in our healthcare program.

It's National Rural Health Day!

What is NRHD? Today is a day that helps shine a light on the unique challenges that rural healthcare providers and organizations need to overcome and recognizing the "power of rural" by celebrating the providers and organizations that serve our rural communities.

EMHS is proud to be your local Rural Health care Provider for Montrose, New Milford, Hallstead, and all of our surrounding communities! In the past 24-36 months, EMHS has invested over $500,000.00 in equipment upgrades to be able to provide our community with the best possible care with new state-of-the-art equipment. With little access to specialty care in our area, EMHS is consistently working with other systems in attempts to bring specialty care closer to home. As part of this effort, EMHS has partnered with other local systems to provide Cardiology and Orthopedic care at our 100 Hospital Drive location and Podiatry care at our Hallstead and Montrose locations.

Our Clinic staff hosted a pumpkin decorating contest this week for our patients and staff to vote on their favorite!
Staff participants included: Layla, Chris G., Dr. Gibran, Maria, Kayla, Catherine, Valerie, Nancy, Eileen, Josh, Sandy, Debbie, Joanna, Kim, Christina, Rebecca D., Becky, Mary, Katie, Sue, and Beth.
